Menons’

Sanal Sameer Menon: 33-year-old eldest son of Sameer and Latha Menon. Director of SmartArt of Business School with his most trust worthy partner Business Manager, Dino. He has established his presence in the field of academics with his immense contribution to art and environment with the help of his wife Prisha Menon. He has managed to take his business school to the new heights of teaching with a purpose and learning with a cause. His school had prominently bagged the best business school of the year for the last 3 years, making him push harder to make a global mark for his love for art.

Prisha Sanal Menon: 28-year-old wife of Sanal, the Dean / music teacher in the SmartArt of Business School. She is helping her husband to run the most prestigious business school to the global frontier. She is the gem of her parents and in-laws who cherish her love and dedication towards the family. For her the family is the foremost priority in her life and something to fight for. Being the eldest daughter-in-law has made her responsible towards her family and to protect them from any known or unknown danger that may fall on them. 

Soumya Sameer Menon: 22-year-old youngest daughter of Sameer and Latha Menon. The national level swimmer and athletic assistant in SmartArt of Business School has managed to coach aspiring children for their dream. Her teaching technique has made Sameer proud of his suggestion to involve her in the business school.

Nairs’

Veena Vinod Nair: 36-year-old eldest of the Nair family, married to the love of her life – Xavier Russo. She has established as the renowned interior designer with her husband’s support and care. Both have planned their own barista plus restaurant in the city. The apple of their eye – Rahul is still in kindergarten making his grandmother Reena’s life filled with hardship because of his mischief.  

Vineeth Vinod Nair – 23-year-old youngest son of Vinod and Reena Nair. Settled in the US, is the pro gamer who had been constantly bagging one after the other awards for his win in the online gaming platforms. Being the pro max gamer, he has been invited by the World Gaming Championship to host their next set of gaming challenge with gamers from all over the world. He is also a part time hacker, thanks to his mafia uncle – Vinay Nair. It’s a secret among the main participants of the Mafia clan in the Nair and Menon family.  

Trishna Vinay Nair: 33-year-old eldest daughter of Vinay and Sonia Nair, happily married to Namith. She is the project manager in the IT firm were she had initially interned. Her husband Namith runs his own firm and is supported by his wife who in between helps him with the IT expertise. They have 3-year-old daughter Nimya, who is the charm and angel of her father. Her grandparents spoil her with her long list of toys and whatnot.

Rajeev Vinay Nair (Raj): 25-year-old youngest son of Vinay and Sonia Nair, music teacher in the university. He is the introvert in the loud and huge family who are the mafia bosses of the underworld. He is engaged to his long-time girlfriend, Ramya who also happens to be his uncle Vinod’s best friends daughter. His dad would often guide him to involve wholly to the mafia clan. But he would always repudiate replying ‘these hands are meant to pluck the guitar strings, not the culprits eyeballs’ which would amuse and challenge his father to not give up on the calm like water sharp mind of his endearing son.

The Kumars’

Arjun Kumar – 57-year-old University professor teaching in Mumbai university. He is supposed to retire from his post and want to start his own students counselling institution. His dear friend Sonia Nair would help him with his dream in support of her husband Vinay Nair (to his much despair!). Arjun had his charm going strong even in his late 50s, which was passed onto his beautiful and calm daughter, Mrunal. His mental stability to face his fears with utmost calmness and intellect was equipped by his son Dhiraj, who was his parent’s pride and strength.

Deepika Kumar – 54-year-old wife of Arjun Kumar. She is a kathak dancer turned housewife. She uses her spare time to teach few kids around their block, the basic dance moves, as to not break the touch from her art. Being a Mangalorean, she is rooted to her south Indian culture which had initially captured her husband’s heart. Arjun met her in one of her dance performances and they clicked just like that. Ever since, he has been head over heels for his loving wife who had not only blessed his life but also his career. She would often guide and provide her insights on her take to handle tough to sober situations with ease. Her daughter embraced the dance form in the most exquisite manner capturing her audience with her serene almond light brown eyes.

Dhiraj Kumar – 27-year-old eldest son of Arjun and Deepika. He is currently serving in the army as Lieutenant to be promoted to Captain. He is the pride of his parents and his little sister. He had seen the way his parents had struggled to raise him and his sister. His father is an inspiration to him who always recited the quote ‘Fight for your belief, and the belief will fight for you’ which only made him stronger and braver to protect his family from any danger that may befall on them.

Mrunal Kumar (Minu / Buji) – 21-year-old youngest of Arjun and Deepika. She is studying for her final year psychology degree in the university. Being the silent person, she is privy to only a few friends circle. She is her father’s pride and her mother’s sunshine. Her love for music and dance has kept her rooted to her tradition and culture which many of her counterparts make fun of. She is the only mature individual in her friends group of four; It is challenging for her to be the mother of her group. The only time she feels lost like a child is when she hears his voice which resonates through the creek of her class window as he recites his melodies in the music studio adjacent to her class. But alas! The music, the song, even his voice is not for her. It is for his love – his Ramya.

The other characters

Ramya – 21-year-old daughter of Prateek Iyer, the businessman tycoon in the field of timber. The nature of business led to the lengthy friendship between the Nair and Iyer family. Ramya had done her doctrine degree from the US and had recently returned to the country on the request of her father. Her mother died during childbirth making her grew up with only the love and care of her father. Hence she had accustomed herself to live without the motherly support that every girl would want during her growing age. But being engaged to her boyfriend Rajeev, only bought her closer to the loving family of the Nairs who were ready to flourish her life with their pamper and love. But she has a secret unknown to the pure hearted family who were unaware of her real intentions for them.

Dhanajay (Dino): Sanal’s best friend, business manager in SmartArt of Business School. He has made it possible for Sanal to achieve his dream for his project of sustainable teaching with friendly atmosphere for both the staff and children. He finally met his muse and wife Tanisha, Amritha’s best friend. Sanal and Prisha both were amazed at the outcome of a carefree girl matching with the likes of Dino. But at the end, Tanisha did find her soulmate in Dino who could only offer her his infinite love and care. They are expecting their first child which would only increase their happiness.

Amritha Reddy: 26-year-old daughter of Shiva and Rekha Reddy, happily married to Shyam Shetty. She is working as the Finance officer for her husband’s new LifeGraphics Pvt. Ltd., an IT firm being partnered by Gaurav and Benisha who gladly helped to assist the new entrepreneur with their expertise. She has a 3-year-old son, Abhiman, who is his grandparents sweet ‘golu’ as loving nick-named by Rekha.
